In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of installing Docker on your Android phone, specifically using a OnePlus 6T with postmarketOS. I also wrote another blog post explaining how you can run this phone without a battery, allowing it to run forever as long as it remains connected to a power source. If you’re interested, feel free to check it out! This guide can be adapted only for phones on the postmarketOS device list. Please note that this process will erase all data on your phone, so it’s important to use a device you don’t need.

HoRNDIS (pronounce: “horrendous”) is a driver for Mac OS X that allows you to use your Android phone's native USB tethering mode to get Internet access. It is known to work with Mac OS X versions 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) through 10.9 (Mavericks – see notes below), and has been tested on a wide variety of phones. So... The Palm Pre gets totally slammed on battery life, but the Droid gets a pass saying we just need to change our habits? Sheesh. "Until battery technology changes to double or triple capacity, you will have to change your charging habits to fit the needs of the smartphone. Instead of charging it every few days, or only charging it overnight, you need to charge the phone basically whenever it isn't being used. Driving in your car--charge the phone. Sitting at your desk--charge the phone. Sleeping at night--charge the phone."
