Apparently, this is because a recent Leopard update removed 256 color display support from graphics drivers. Later in the thread, it seems that a patch is in the works by the heroic Mac team. Alternatives are Boot Camp or a dicey selective downgrade in graphics drivers from an earlier update.Unfurl
